Welcome to Youmacon 2019! We’re excited to have you at the GMRENCEN. Safety is our top priority here, and we want to ensure you have the best possible experience during your time in Detroit and at the GMRENCEN. This guide will ensure you’re informed of our building’s procedures and provide information tailored to your Youmacon experience.

Parking and Transportation

Getting around Detroit is easier than ever with a variety of parking and transportation options. This blog post includes information about the Detroit People Mover, easy access across Jefferson Ave. through our skywalk and surrounding parking garages that are open to the public.

There are Bird and Lime scooters throughout downtown. Please be sure to return these in a safe location, away from vehicle traffic and pedestrian walkways. And it goes without saying, there are no scooters permitted in the building.

Food and Dining

If you haven’t been back to the GMRENCEN since last year’s Youmacon, you’ll notice a brand-new Food Court, now called the CAFE, with a variety of dining options located on Level A. Please keep in mind, seating will be limited during peak hours.
