A Sneak Peek at the New Applebee’s/IHOP

If you didn’t already know, the first ever co-branded Applebee’s and IHOP restaurant is headed to the GMRENCEN, inside the Millender Center, and restaurant renderings were recently released.

The 11,939-square-foot hybrid restaurant Applebee’s/IHOP concept is underway, with the grand opening slated for spring of 2018. The new restaurant will feature several guest-favorite menu items from both Applebee’s and IHOP, along with a barista coffee bar. Guests will be able to enjoy breakfast at IHOP in the morning, and Applebee’s for lunch and dinner.

Design

The modern design and concept will fulfill a multi-dimensional purpose for serving many guests, including hotel patrons, the morning business community, lunch and after work crowds, group outings and families. The new restaurant will seat 300 guests and will feature only the second Applebee’s in Detroit.

GMRENCEN Changes

THE GMRENCEN has announced several new updates including GM World, the opening of Panera Bread, Granite City and the GM Company Store. Tenants and visitors alike can download the Wayfinder app to help navigate the building. We can’t wait to have breakfast, lunch and dinner all in the same spot.

  1. The renderings look great.

Now where exactly is this going to be? First floor… or second floor in between the County building and the Renaissance Center to catch all of the foot traffic? Just curious.
