Every Tuesday and Thursday, On the Plaza is the place to be this summer during lunch with live music, free activities, vendors and food choices on the GM Plaza. August will be another great month On the Plaza; here are some of the festivities you can look forward to:
Free Bike Rides
Wheelhouse Detroit is a big hit On the Plaza and they are coming back on August 4 to rent out bikes for free! Enjoy the weather and the view of the riverfront during a lunch time bike ride with friends.
Book Lovers Day
Calling all book lovers! A day totally dedicated to books is coming On the Plaza, August 9. Vault of Midnight and Source Booksellers are selling a variety of books right on the GM Plaza from 11:30 until 2 p.m.

What’s lunch with no food? In addition to all of the restaurants inside the GMRENCEN, food trucks will be setup outside of the Beaubien Parking Garage on Atwater and Beaubien Street. Some of the food trucks coming in August are Slows to Go, Andiamo, Hero or Villain, and The Truck Culinary Comfort.
