Come out and celebrate with the whole family. Located in the heart of Detroit, The Drop and the Kids Drop is an evening festival created with activities for everyone in the family to enjoy all night leading up to the official drop which is taking place at midnight with the lowering of the “D” to count down the last moments of 2015.
At 4 p.m. the 2016 Kids Zone starts featuring games, activities, music, kid’s karaoke, and carriage rides, then at 6:30 p.m. the Kids Drop! A special kid’s drop which was designed for those little ones who can’t make it to the official drop at midnight or have a bedtime!
The Detroit Marriott will offer free shuttles from 5 p.m. to 4 a.m. to Drop activities and hotel deals for your NYE celebration.
