Whether you’re here early for work or just visiting, morning risers can grab a bite to eat at the GMRENCEN. If you’re in the mood for eggs, pastries, or breakfast sandwiches, the GMRENCEN can help you with all your breakfast needs. Here are six places to grab the most important meal of the day:
Potbelly serves breakfast?
Yes! Starting at 7:30 a.m. you can order your breakfast as soon as you walk in the building if you park in the Beaubien Place Garage, or get it even quicker if you pre-order online. You have your choice of various breakfast sandwiches, steel cut oatmeal and yogurt parfaits. Oh, and did we mention that you can get coffee for $1.00 with the purchase of a breakfast item?
Take a seat and enjoy your morning at Volt
Early meeting? No problem! Volt opens at 6:30 a.m. and is a great morning meeting spot. Order your eggs any way you want them, with pancakes, and of course a cup of coffee, and knock out a business meeting all at once.
Grab and go at Starbucks
Grab a quick breakfast sandwich, or pastry, and coffee from Starbucks when you have to run and be ready for whatever the day may bring.

Treat yourself to Panera
The smell of fresh baked goods at 6:30 a.m. from Panera Bread is pretty tempting, so treat yourself and try their fresh baked quiche or bagels. If you want to start your day on a healthier note, try one of their power smoothies.
Don’t forget the food court
The food court in the GMRENCEN gets pretty busy during lunch but many of those restaurants are open for breakfast too. Places like Burger King, Coney Town and McDonald’s open at 6:30 a.m. so you can order your favorite breakfast food first thing in the morning.
