This unique hybrid location is the first in the United States and will open in the by late 2017. The approximately 11,939-square-foot restaurant will be Detroit’s second Applebee’s. It will serve breakfast in the mornings with world-famous IHOP pancakes then transition into Applebee’s for lunch and dinner.
Construction of the Applebee’s/IHOP hybrid concept, pending municipal approvals, will begin in April 2017, with the grand opening slated for late 2017. The 300-seat hybrid restaurant will feature several guest-favorite menu items from both Applebee’s and IHOP, along with a breakfast buffet and barista coffee bar. This location will provide another dining option for Detroit residents, guests and office workers.
Over the last year, the GMRENCEN has announced many new updates including a renovation that will transform the building, the opening of Panera Bread, Granite City and the GM Company Store, along with the Wayfinder app that makes it easier to navigate the building. The GMRENCEN just keeps getting better and we thrilled for Applebee’s/IHOP to join our family of restaurants.
