20 Apps You Can Use in the GMRENCEN

The GMRENCEN has more than 100 shops and restaurants located inside of the building. Many of these businesses have apps you can download on your phone to check out the menu and order food, earn rewards and easily make payments.  Here are 20 apps you can use to your advantage while you’re in the building:

GMRENCEN Wayfinder

The GMRENCEN is a huge building, so big that it has its own zip code and it can be hard to navigate at times. You’ll never have to worry about getting turned around again with this app. The Wayfinder app has turn-by-turn directions for inside and around the building.

Working out just got a whole lot easier. Designed to keep you motivated, this app allows users to set personal goals, find classes, schedule a one-on-one with a trainer and much more.

Marriott

Book a room, order fresh towels and request whatever you need using the Marriott International app. Whether you’re checking into the Courtyard Downtown Detroit or the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, you can use the app to chat with hotel representatives who can help you.

Granite City

The Granite City app, GCPay, has it all. Exclusive to the GMRENCEN, this app allows users to pay their bill, leave a tip, make reservations, purchase gift cards, order ahead and even split the bill with a friend.

Starbucks

Every avid coffee fan should have the Starbucks app to get the most bang for their buck. This app lets you conveniently pay for purchases, collect Stars to earn rewards and see what’s on the menu.

Panera Bread

The Panera app makes it easier for you to find your favorite menu items when you’re on the go or only have time for a quick lunch break. Just place the order from your phone, choose a time when you can pick up your food and they’ll have it ready and waiting for you. It’s that easy.

Tim Hortons

Not only does TimmyMe let users make purchase straight from their phone, it also displays menu items with nutrition information, has a restaurant locator and a Tim Card reloader.

Finding the perfect gift has never been easier with the Edible Arrangements app. The “Gift Finder” selects the ideal gift by making recommendations based on responses to a series of prompts and you’ll have access to mobile coupons to sweeten the deal.

Chase Bank and Comerica Bank

Stay on top of your finances, while keeping up with your busy schedule with the Chase and Comerica banking apps. Transfer funds between your accounts, make payments, check your balance and more all from the palm of your hand.

HealthOne Credit Union and Public Service Credit Union

AT&T and Verizon Wireless have kiosks located inside of the GMRENCEN on Level 1 and both have apps to make managing your account easier. Check your monthly usage, pay your bill, troubleshoot any issues and change your account features with just a tap of your screen.

FedEX

Everyone knows that moment of panic when a package doesn’t get delivered on time. With the FedEx app you can relax and easily check the status of a delivery without going through the hassle of entering a long tracking number. The GMRENCEN has three self-service locations on Level 1 of Towers 100, 400 and 500/600.

US Postal Service

Skip the lines at a USPS location and use the mobile app instead. The list of what this app can do is almost endless. You can calculate shipping prices, find a location, and look up a Zip code for any U.S. address. You can also request a hold mail service or an address change, track a priority mail delivery and more. The GMRENCEN has its very own USPS location on Level 2 of Tower 100.
